In order to provide a complete data set of known species in Warwickshire for inclusion in the Millennium Atlas update, the map below has been generated to help local recorders focus on particular species, key butterfly sites and areas.
Each grid square contains a list of species (for example, PL = Painted Lady) which are yet to be recorded in these grid squares during this atlas update period. Local recorders are encouraged to visit these areas and send in any records of butterfly species shown during the 2009 season.
