Moths - Flame Shoulder (Ochropleura plecta)

Two generations - during April to September. Northern Britian a single generation occurs between late May and July. The Flame Shoulder is a common species throught Britian.

Wingspan 25-30mm

Comes to light.

Larval Food Plants
A wide range of herbaceous foodplants including Dock, Groundsel and Ribwort Plantain. The larvae tend to be most active at night.

Habitat Requirements
Gardens, farmland, grassland, meadows, hedgerows, woodland and wetland.
