Join us for something a bit different. We are searching for butterflies.....but at night! Using UV torches plus some other gadgets we will be introducing you to the strange world of biofluorescence. When the walk has finished there is a beginners moth night next door at Ryton pools country park.

This is not a Warwickshire branch led walk but in collaboration with the Chequered skipper project team. Join this walk in the hope to see the newly reintroduced population of Chequered skipper into the woodland. Guided walks limited to 20 people. Keep on the marked trails.

Our Reserve Open Day is a great opportunity to discover more about butterflies, moths and their habitats and to meet like-minded people with a passion for wildlife and the environment. Everyone is welcome from non-members to new members, experts and novices, anyone interested in nature is welcome to join us.
Light refreshments will be available but we recommend that you bring a packed lunch and drinks if you wish.
