I'm not absolutely certain that the fast-flying moth was Muslin, but it was certainly one of the Ermine family.

Additional Notes

Conditions were perfect today, and I rather expected more than a total of 9 species. Some odd absences, too. In particular, it doesn't look as though Holly Blue is having a good spring everywhere in Warwickshire. Very good count here, but almost absent just 2km away, though there's plenty of holly and ivy. The Adela moths were all on Elm.

Cutting only just reopened after Sustrans work. No Small Blue or Skippers on the bank, but it was gradually clouding over. Saw a Nightingale! A first for me - a couple out birdwatching told me about it. Just north of Bascote Road bridge.
