Additional Notes

Bee-flies still out. Brace of partridges seen at Val's Hill. A crow flew in from Ryton Pools with something in its beak, which it dipped in standing water near Blackthorn Walk before eating it. I think it had a chip. I HOPE that was a chip. If not, that crow had someone's finger!

My first Orange-tips this year. Loads of Dark-Edged Bee-Fly. Pretty sure the Underwings were Orange, not Light Orange , but only got a halfway-good view of one of them.
