Additional Notes

Lovely site, very peaceful. Deserted medieval village with redundant church. The Churches Conservation Trust say Grizzled Skippers live here - sadly, I didn't see any! Open access over village earthworks, and you can get onto the railway embankment near the church. I did see what I thought was a huge hornet, but turned out to be a female Broad-bodied Chaser dragonfly. Access by car via Flecknoe, or walk from Braunston. You can even camp in the church - look for
